{my grandmother Irma, with her little sister Evie - somewhere in the 1920s}
My grandmother Irma turns 85 today... Happy birthday, Omi! This weekend, we will be celebrating her birthday at a nice Indonesian restaurant in Rotterdam. I'm looking forward to seeing my family again, because I don't see them that often.
Look what I found while browsing the archives of the computer: my old website...
...and my weblog {in Dutch} was centered in the white space. And Frankie is pictured on the left, poor thing. I still miss her.
Look at these beautiful ceramics by Virginia Jones, found via feffakookan:

today:
• going to the airport to wave Floris goodbye {he will be playing in Athens, Greece!}
{It was early in the morning and I was so tired... I didn't make it to the airport. But Floris did!}
• meeting Marieke at Festina Lente
{Marieke gave me the cutest present: a Le Petit Prince pencil case! Thank you, Marieke - I was in need of a large pencil case!}
