When I was in Stockholm I visited the shop/studio of designer duo mori & mimosa, consisting of Christina Wemming {a fashion designer} and Sara Engberg {a jewelry artist}. It was Stockholm Fashion Week {yay!} and I got a sneak preview of their Summer collection 2008, Hawaiian Mirage {...including Hawaiian music and a refreshing iced coffee, since it was very warm that day}!
Some items of the Hawaiian Mirage collection are made in collaboration with pattern designer Malin Björklund, whose patterns were digitally printed on fabric after she had drawn them on paper... just beautiful {you can see some of her drawings on wallpaper pictured above}.
Sara's designs are made of silver, dyed jade and acrylic and I believe that Sara's jewelry and Christina's clothing really complement each other. That dress with a print by Malin is even better in real life! I also saw two dresses of their Morticia collection {Autumn 2007} and immediately fell in love with the design, fabric and jewelry {more on this collection later on...}!
For more information, you can visit their website or send them an e-mail.
If you're in Stockholm, you can visit the shop/studio on Högalidsgatan 34 A.
